How can support professionals manage to take into account the vulnerability and autonomy of the person with disabilities in a context of artistic creation? What are the relationships between directors and actors? Can the director always have the last word? The symposium Ethics (s) of theatrical practices proposes two days of meeting and exchange around the ethical questions posed to the field of art, its institutions and its creators, the work of theatrical creation with actors in a situation of disability.

Faced with the current artistic and cultural dynamics, this meeting brings together actors from various backgrounds, coming from fields combining social work, art, philosophy, economics and politics. In the form of round tables and workshops, the various proposed interventions will focus on the following topics: Experiences of professionalization of actors with disabilities and ethical issues; Ethics of the care of artistic ESAT: fragility and autonomy; Ethics of creation: the desire to be an actor; and Ethics of the Artistic ESAT Economy: Capabilities and Positive Freedom.

The company La Bulle Bleue is a professional and permanent troupe of actors with disabilities. Working on three-year periods with an associated artistic team, La Bulle Bleue collaborates, from 2016 to 2019, with Bruno Geslin (Cie La Grande Mêlée), Jacques Allaire and Evelyne Didi to carry the project”Take care of Fassbinder.” The Fassbinder trilogy is presented in its entirety at the Théâtre des 13 vents / National Dramatic Center in Montpellier in January 2019. La Bulle Bleue, The Théâtre des 13 vents and La Grande Mêlée concocted for the occasion an unprecedented course. Three directors and 22 actors gathered for two weeks of diving in the exciting artistic adventure “Take care of Fassbinder”.
